A Little Hug From Me On A Cold Winter's Day

Happy New Year's Eve everyone!  Today I'm sharing a winter-themed card that I will be entering into a few challenges.  This is my first time using the Snow Folks Cricut Cartridge.  It has so many cute cuts on it!  The crinkle ribbon is from Karen of Little Scrap Pieces  I love this color!  So pretty!  Thanks for looking and I hope everybody has a safe and Happy New Year!  :)

Cut It Up Challenge #9- Out With the Old!

Christmas is Claus for Celebration!

Hi there!  I hope everyone is having a great holiday season!  It's hard to believe Christmas is in 3 days!  Today I'm sharing a Christmas card that we sent to my mother-in-law for Christmas.  For the inside of the card I used the "Christmas is Claus for Celebration!" sentiment.  It is from the BugBites "Mistletoe" stamp set.  Unfortunately, I signed and wrote a message in it before I took a picture of the interior.  :(  I am also going to enter it into a few challenges.  Thanks for looking and I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!  :)

Cut It Up Challenge #8- White Elegance

Hi everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at Cut It Up!  The challenge is to create an all white card with a touch of one other color.  For my card I cut out a snowflake from the Christmas cartridge with blue glittery paper.  I also punched out mini snowflakes with a Fiskars punch and Martha Stewart punch.  I am entering this into a couple challenges.  I hope to see you link up at Cut It Up!  Thanks for looking and have a great day!  :)

Challenge #7- 3D Holiday Project

Hi there!  It's time for another challenge over at Cut It Up!  The challenge is to create a 3D holiday project.  It can be any holiday but remember to use a die cut!  For my project I made Countdown to Christmas wooden blocks!  I painted the bottom two blocks and sanded the edges.  I then adhered Christmas paper to the front with Mod Podge.  For the top block, I painted the front with chalkboard paint!  The letters were cut out from the A Child's Year Cricut Cartridge using vinyl.  I am also entering this into a few challenges.  I hope to see you link up your project at Cut It Up!  Thanks for looking and have a great day!  :)

A Very Happy Birthday To You!

Hi there!  Today I am sharing a birthday card that my daughter and I made for my older daughter who turns 20 on Wednesday.  She really likes butterflies so we cut the butterfly from Create a Critter.  We also used a Fiskars punch for the little butterflies.  I am going to be entering this into a few challenges.  Thanks for looking and have a great day!  :)

Cut It Up Challenge #6- Button Day!

Hi everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at Cut It Up!  In celebration of  Button Day, the challenge is to make any kind of project incorporating at least two buttons and a die-cut!  For my project I made a Christmas card!   I decorated the tree with some colorful buttons.  I used the Create a Critter 2 cartridge for the dog, bone, and tree.  I hope to see you link up your project at Cut It Up!  I am also sending this card to Madison from Funky Cards for her I Feel the Love Project.  During the months of November and December she is collecting Christmas cards for Children's Hospital Central California.  Thanks for looking and have a great day!  :)

Cut It Up Challenge #5- Thank You!

Hi everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at Cut It Up!  The challenge is to make a Thank You card that includes a digital or stamped image and a die-cut.  Janis from Pause Dream Enjoy and Mark's Finest Papers are sponsoring this challenge and will be giving away a stamp set to the winner!  For my card I cut out the latte from the Love You a Latte cartridge and for the stamped image, I stamped a heart from the Whimsical Designs "With Love" stamp set.  I hope to see you play along at Cut It Up for this fun challenge!  Below, I also included a couple pictures of what I've been up to this week.

Here is a picture of our front yard after Hurricane Sandy.  Luckily, the tree landed in our yard and not on our house!  The tree was 45 feet tall.  We also lost power for about 24 hours. :(

Monster Kisses Treat Bags

Hi everyone!  Today I am sharing some monster treat bags!  I filled the bags with Hershey Kisses and and added the sentiment "Monster Kisses".  I got this cute Halloween ribbon at Michaels the other day and couldn't wait to use it!  I cut the monsters out from the Bump in the Night cartridge.  I am entering this into a few challenges.  Thanks for looking and have a great day!  :)

Cut It Up Challenge #4- Halloween

Hi everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at Cut It Up!   Since Halloween is right around the corner, the challenge is to create a Halloween/spooky themed project. Make sure you also include a die-cut!  For my project I made a Halloween easel card!  I used the Bump in the Night cartridge to cut out the monsters and the Mini Monsters cartridge to cut out the light post.  The prize for this challenge is 10 yards each of Chocolate Truffle, (2) Orangesicle, and Orange Truffle twine (such fun colors!) from Trendy Twine!  I used Orange Licorice Trendy Twine for the bow on the monsters head and on the sentiment mat.  I hope to see you link up your Halloween project at Cut It Up!  Thanks for looking and have a great day!  :)

Happy Turkey Day Card

Cut It Up Challenge #3- Breast Cancer Awareness

Hi everyone!  Its time for another Cut It Up Challenge!  The challenge is to make a paper project in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Cut It Up Challenge #2- Fall Photo Inspiration
