Krafty Girls Challenge #2

Hi there!  It's time for Krafty Girls Challenge #2.  The theme for this challenge is to create a St. Patrick's Day project.  For my card I used one of my favorite cartridges, 3 Birds on Parade!  Since the cute little bird is holding a Kiss Me, I'm Irish sign somebody gave him a kiss on his head!  It's hard to see in the picture, but on the white mat there are little clovers.  I hope to see you link up your St. Patrick's Day project at Krafty Girls this week!  I will also be entering this card into a few challenges.  Thanks for looking and have a great day everyone!  :)

Krafty Girls First Challenge and Blog Hop!!!

Hi there!  Happy Valentine's Day!!  I hope everyone is enjoying the Krafty Girls first blog hop and challenge!  If you have come from Jessica at Craftin' and Stampin', you are in the right place!  If you were just stopping by to check out my blog then you can start at the beginning HERE.  Remember to check out each design team member's blog to check out their projects! 

The first Krafty Girl's Challenge is to create a project that represents where you are from/live.  Maryland is known for their crabs from the Chesapeake Bay so I decided to put these cute crabs on my card!  The ironic thing is I've lived in Maryland my whole life and have never eaten a crab before because I don't like seafood!  I made it a beach scene because me and my family love to go to the beach at Ocean City, MD!  The crabs, sun, and sandcastle are all from Create a Critter.  The bucket and shovel are from the H2O cartridge.  I also used a white and black Gelly Roll Pen to stitch around the sandcastle and the card base.  I hope you like it!

I Love You Valentine's Day Card

Hi there!  Today I'm sharing my first Valentine's Day card for this year.  This card was actually my daughter's idea.  She started using the doily lace punch to punch out different color borders and said we should put them all on the same card.  So this is what we came up with.  I think it turned out pretty cute!  Thanks for looking and I hope everyone enjoys watching the Super Bowl tonight!  :)
