Cut It Up Challenge #32 - Countdown!

Hi everybody!  It's time for another challenge at Cut It Up Challenges!  The theme this time is to make a countdown to Christmas or a countdown to any other event.  For my project I made a Countdown to Christmas Mini Clipboard.  I got my inspiration from Stacey at Stacey's Creative Corner.  She had made one last Christmas and I just loved it and knew I wanted to make one this year.  You can see her clipboard here.  For the numbers I used A Child's Year Cricut Cartridge.  The pretty blue embellishments on the Days Until Christmas tag are from Pez-A-Doodle Designs.  They are one of the sponsors this challenge with a $25 Gift Certificate to the shop.  KaDoodle Bug Designs is also giving away a $10 Gift Certificate!  Great prizes!  I hope to see everybody play along!  Can't wait to see your projects!  I am also going to enter this into Little Scrap Pieces Fun Friday Linky Party.  Thanks for looking and have a great day!  :)

Challenge #7- 3D Holiday Project

Hi there!  It's time for another challenge over at Cut It Up!  The challenge is to create a 3D holiday project.  It can be any holiday but remember to use a die cut!  For my project I made Countdown to Christmas wooden blocks!  I painted the bottom two blocks and sanded the edges.  I then adhered Christmas paper to the front with Mod Podge.  For the top block, I painted the front with chalkboard paint!  The letters were cut out from the A Child's Year Cricut Cartridge using vinyl.  I am also entering this into a few challenges.  I hope to see you link up your project at Cut It Up!  Thanks for looking and have a great day!  :)

Cupcake Chipboard Mini Album

Hi there!  Today I'm sharing my first chipboard mini album!  My 14-year-old daughter, Brooke, got a Babycakes Cupcake Maker for Christmas and she's been making cupcakes ever since.  She loves to make cupcakes, decorate cupcakes, and eat cupcakes (me too!) so we decided to make a chipboard scrapbook album to put pictures of her with her Cupcake Maker!  This is also the first time we've ever used the Cinch.  It was really easy to bind the chipboard together with it.  We had so much fun making this book!  I will be entering this into Challenge #40 at My Craft Spot which is to put a delicious treat on your project and Challenge #142 at Cupcake Inspirations which is an inspiration photo challenge. Thanks for looking and have a great day!  :)
