Cut It Up Challenge #40- Green

Hi there! It's time for another challenge over at Cut It Up!  This week's theme is Green (create a St. Patrick's Day or Spring project.  The sponsors for this challenge is a $20 coupon code to Cute as a Button and a $25 gift card to Heartfelt Creations.  For my project I made a wooden sign.  I first painted the sign black and then painted it green over top.  I sanded it so some of the black would show through for a distressed look.  I cut the vinyl letters and design on the Cricut.  I hope to see you link up your project at Cut It Up!  Thanks for looking and have a great day!  :)

Cut It Up Challenge #37- Through the Woods

Hi everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at Cut It Up!  The theme this time is Through the Woods- anything that evokes wood, wood grain pattern paper or embossing folder, a die cut of a tree, woodland creature, wood veneer, etc.  The prize for this challenge is a stamp set from Scrappy Moms Stamps.  For my project I made a sign for my "Mom Cave"... aka, my craft room!  I painted the wood with black paint and sanded the edges.  The letters and design were cut on pink vinyl from the Elegant Cakes Cricut cartridge.  I hope to see you link up your project at Cut It Up!  Thanks for looking and have a great day!  :)

For my project I made winter wooden blocks!  I painted and sanded the wooden blocks then adhered the paper with Mod Podge.  I cut the letters with vinyl on the Cricut.
