Cut It Up Challenge #37- Through the Woods

Hi everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at Cut It Up!  The theme this time is Through the Woods- anything that evokes wood, wood grain pattern paper or embossing folder, a die cut of a tree, woodland creature, wood veneer, etc.  The prize for this challenge is a stamp set from Scrappy Moms Stamps.  For my project I made a sign for my "Mom Cave"... aka, my craft room!  I painted the wood with black paint and sanded the edges.  The letters and design were cut on pink vinyl from the Elegant Cakes Cricut cartridge.  I hope to see you link up your project at Cut It Up!  Thanks for looking and have a great day!  :)

For my project I made a shaped heart-shaped Valentine's Day card.  I found the card base at the Silhouette Store.  The adorable bee cut was a freebie from Miss Kate Cuttables.  The outside sentiment is from the Be Mine set by Pink By Design.  The inside sentiment is from the With Love set by Whimsical Designs.

Cut It Up Challenge #36- White as Snow

Hi there!  It's time for another challenge over at Cut It Up Challenges!  This week's challenge is "White as Snow".  Create an all white project with a dash of another color and don't forget to use a die cut!  For my project I made a Valentine's Day card for my husband.  The lips are from the Indie Art Cricut Cartridge.  And for fun, I put them an action wobble.  The sentiment is the "With Love" stamp set from Whimsical Designs.  I hope to see you link up your project!  Thanks for looking and have a great day!  :)

For my project I made winter wooden blocks!  I painted and sanded the wooden blocks then adhered the paper with Mod Podge.  I cut the letters with vinyl on the Cricut.

I created some Christmas milk carton treat containers.  They are really fun to make and decorate.  I'll probably make a few more and put candy or little gifts in them.  The carton base and sentiment mat is from the Cricut Artiste Cartridge.  The reindeer is cut from the Create a Critter 2 Catridge cartridge.   The Santa is from Miss Kate Cuttables.  The snowman is from Too Cute By Jessica.  Those adorable little clothes pins are from Michael's.  I loved them so much I picked up 6 packs of them while they were on sale.  I used the My Mind's Eye "The Merry Days of Christmas" 6x6 pad for the papers.  The Happy Holidays is a little wooden stamp I've had forever but don't remember where I got it.  And then I just added some bling and googly eyes.  I hope to see everybody link up your Christmas projects!  Thanks for looking and have a great day!
